Jeanne Darrow Peck is an investor and consultant in underserved communities and affordable housing in the Chicago area. She has extensive transactional and finance experience. Most recently, she served as a Director of Mortgage Banking at Berkadia (a Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies Financial Group company) from 2011 to 2018. Jeanne has originated $1 Billion in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Life Insurance Company, Mezzanine Debt and Equity transactions.
Having worked at Fifield Companies, Prudential Global Investment Management (PGIM) and GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Jeanne has financed over $3 billion of commercial real estate through acquisitions, permanent and construction loan originations, and mezzanine debt/joint venture/preferred equity placements over the span of her 25 year career.
Jeanne is a committed CREW Chicago/Network member, having served on the chapter Board 2016-17. She earned an undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Business School; she is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Sales Broker.
